This is my Wisdom Tale comic. It is The Red and Blue Coat from Africa. I made it using the apps Sketchbook, for drawing, and Comic Life, to make the comic. I chose this wisdom tale because I thought it would be fun to draw. This wisdom tale also has a deeper moral, I’m sure we have all heard it before but do you ever apply to it. Overall, the experience of making this comic was fun, but not something I would do again. Think of it as a one time roller coaster. Anyway, if you haven’t already enjoy the comic!
For one week, everyone at my school was fully remote. Here’s my experience.
November 30th through December 4th, I had a fully remote week. Every day I had back to back calls for every class, and to be honest, it was pretty exhausting. For a week like that, you have to be prepared. I didn’t make a calendar, so I was just trying and trying to make time for my work. I think the main problem was, we didn’t do work on the call rather do it after. I do wish we had done work on the call, but it’s too late to change it. During my work week, I would do work during my breaks, and during lunch.
My advice for at home people? Make a calendar, keep track of time. It is hard to get work done when you have back to back calls. I get it, people might say, “Keep working on it after school”. If you’re like me, I have sports after school. Overall, the work load doesn’t affect much. If you have a lot of work, keep track of time. Of course you need to give yourself breaks. Maybe make a calendar. In the end, my fully remote week, was decent I just didn’t keep track of my work as I should have.
Be Grateful. Not just during Thanksgiving, but always.
I’m grateful for a lot of things. If I had to narrow it down I would say I am most grateful for my family. If it weren’t for my parents, I would have no home or food. If it weren’t for my sister, I would be lonely and unprepared; I would have no one to look up to. I’ve taken a lot of things for granted. If you really think about it, you wouldn’t have anything if it weren’t for your family. It doesn’t matter if your adopted or not, you’ll have something.
I am currently reading the book Truly Devious. This book is a murder mystery by Maureen Johnson. This book is a series but I am currently only on book one. In Truly Devious the beginning is captivating, it takes place at Mr. Ellingham’s school. Mr.Ellingham is very rich so he built a school for gifted students. Ellingham’s daughter and wife were kidnapped by a murderer who goes by Truly Devious. Truly Devious murdered one of the kids at school. Stevie our main character and her friends try and solve this mystery. Do they figure out who Truly Devious is? Do they get murdered? Read Truly Devious by Maureen Johnson to find out!
Chucky. The classic murder doll. Let me tell you how he escaped to go on his spree.
Every sing birthday Eliza asked for a doll. Finally, on her 8th birthday he parents let her get one. When they went to the doll store, Eliza selected the doll she wanted. His name was Chucky. When they were checking him out at the cash register, the clerk told Eliza,
”Every single night lock him in a safe in your LOCKED basement.” Eliza agreed and took Chucky home. Every night she locked him in a safe and locked the door to her basement. One night she got so tired she forgot to lock him in the safe. When she was about to fall asleep she heard.

I have scopophobia, the fear of someone behind you or watching you. I tend to notice anyone behind me, I just feel it on my back. I never feel comfortable with my back in the open or in a crowd, I always have to have my back against a wall where I see everything. This fear has actually kept people from doing jump scares from behind as a joke or for Halloween. So in conclusion, because of me fear I can feel or notice someone behind me.
We all know that this terrible pandemic Covid-19 is going around. Here I’m going to talk about what school is like during Covid for me. Currently at the school I go to, we’ve split every grade in half by the first letter of your last name. 1st half of the alphabet is Academy and second half is University. I am in the University group and we go to school on Tuesdays and Thursdays. On Monday, Wednesday and Friday I’m doing school at home. At school, we follow all the procedures to keep everyone safe. Things are very different than last year, but I am very happy I can come to school and see my friends. I hope y’alls school year is going well!
